General precautions
- Keep this manual for future reference.
- Use only parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer, or with the same characteristics as the original parts.
- Do not try to repair the product yourself. For repairs, contact the support team.
- Do not use pressure washers on the electronics, sensors or solar panel.
- Do not touch or adjust components that are not mentioned in this manual.
Battery and solar panel
- The photovoltaic panel is fragile. Do not hit its surface or place objects on it. If the panel is broken, stop using the bin and contact support.
- Do not short-circuit or disconnect the battery. The battery must be replaced only by authorized staff, with an equivalent model.
- Place the bin in a sunny area. In shaded areas the battery does not charge enough and the automatic functions may stop.
Automatic door
- Do not put hands or objects in the closing area of the door while it is moving.
- Do not force the automatic door open or closed by hand.
- On the TPV2209, the automated compartment has an anti-crush function. Do not rely on it as the main protection, and supervise children near the bin.
Prohibited waste
Do not throw into the bin:- burning or hot materials (lit cigarette butts, ash, coals);
- liquids, flammable, corrosive or toxic substances;
- batteries, accumulators and electronic waste;
- bulky objects that can block the door or, on the compactor model, the compaction mechanism.
Rules for operators
- Wear protective gloves when emptying and cleaning.
- On the WYC-2021-120 compactor model, never put your hands into the compaction chamber. Make sure the mechanism is stopped before emptying.
- Lift full bags within the weight limits for manual handling.
