The ZYT16G-2a/3a timer mounts on a rail and can control single-phase loads directly or, through a contactor, larger single-phase loads and three-phase loads.
Disconnect mains power before any mounting or wiring work.

Wiring methods

1. Direct single-phase control

The controlled electrical system must be powered by single-phase current, and its power consumption must not exceed the rated capacity of the switch (3A resistive load). Connect the power supply to the POWER terminals and the loads to the OUT1 and OUT2 outputs (plus OUT3 on the ZYT16G-3a model).

2. Single-phase with contactor

The controlled electrical system is powered by single-phase current, but its power consumption exceeds the rated capacity of the switch (3A resistive load). In this case, connect the timer to an AC contactor.

3. Three-phase connection

The controlled electrical system is powered by three phases (N, A, B, C). Connect the timer to a three-phase contactor with a 220V/50Hz coil voltage.
The wiring diagrams (fig. 1, fig. 2, and fig. 3) are in the printed timer manual.
