If the ZYT16G-2a/3a timer stops working or loses the time, replace the AA battery on its back. You need a small flat-head screwdriver and a new AA battery.
Disconnect the equipment from mains power before you start.

Disconnect the equipment from mains power

Turn off the power supply to the equipment.

Open the cover

Remove the cover to access the timer.

Release the timer from the rail

Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the bottom of the timer (in the red clip) and gently pull down to release the timer from the rail.

Pull out and turn the timer

Once released, gently pull the timer out, as far as the connected wires allow, and turn it to reach the back.

Replace the battery

Find the cover over the AA battery and open it. Replace the AA battery (1 pc.).

Reassemble

Reassemble in reverse order.

Set up the timer

Set the clock and the on/off groups as described in Programming.

Power on the equipment

Reconnect the equipment to mains power.
