Important Warnings
General Safety Instructions
Follow these instructions every time you use, move, or store your digital totem display.1
Read and Understand the Operating Instructions
Familiarise yourself with this entire manual before operating the unit for the first time. Do not assume familiarity based on experience with other display products.
2
Store This Manual Safely
Keep this instruction manual in a secure, accessible location for future reference. You will need it for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty support.
3
Observe All Safety Indications
Pay close attention to all safety symbols, warnings, and cautionary notes printed on the unit itself and throughout this documentation. They are there to protect you.
4
Use Only Manufacturer-Recommended Accessories
Do not attach or use any accessory, peripheral, or replacement part that is not explicitly recommended or supplied by Totem Digital Romania. Unauthorised accessories can compromise safety and void your warranty.
5
Use the Supplied Power Cable
Always power the totem using the cable supplied in the box. Before connecting, verify that your local mains voltage and frequency match the power requirements specified for your unit. Do not use a substitute cable.
6
Protect the Power Cable
Do not press, bend, pinch, twist, or place heavy objects on the power cable. A damaged cable is a serious hazard — it can cause electric shock or start a fire. Inspect the cable regularly and replace it immediately if any damage is detected.
7
Do Not Attempt Self-Repair
If your totem develops a fault, do not open the unit or attempt to diagnose or repair the problem yourself. Contact Totem Digital Romania or an authorised service centre and allow qualified personnel to perform all servicing.
8
Do Not Touch Internal Components
Never touch any internal component or element not explicitly referenced in this user manual. Doing so could result in personal injury, damage to the unit, or voiding of your warranty.
Cleaning and Maintenance
When cleaning your digital totem, follow these guidelines:- Use a damp cloth only. Wipe down exterior surfaces with a lightly dampened, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Sprays, solvents, polishes, or abrasive cleaning products can damage the screen coating and external surfaces.
- Keep ventilation slots clear. Never block, cover, or obstruct the ventilation openings on the unit. Blocked ventilation causes heat build-up and can lead to component failure or fire.
- Disconnect power during extended downtime. If the totem will not be in use for a prolonged period, disconnect it from the mains power supply to conserve energy and reduce risk.
