# Totem Digital smart waste bins: models and specifications

> Overview of Totem Digital smart waste bins: the WYC-2021 50L, WYC-2021-120 100L and TPV2209 3×100L models, features, solar power and technical specifications.

Totem Digital Romania smart waste bins are solar-powered urban furniture that open automatically when someone approaches and signal when they are full. This manual covers every model in the range and explains safety, installation, daily use and maintenance.

## Common features

* **Autonomous solar power**: the photovoltaic panel charges the battery, so the bin runs without a mains connection.
* **Automatic opening and closing**: a presence sensor opens the door when a user approaches, for contactless use.
* **Fill-level signalling**: when the bin is full, the indicator turns red and the operator gets a visual warning.
* **Optional 4G monitoring**: fill-level data can be sent to the operator in real time.

    Housing made of aluminium profile and painted cold-rolled steel. Includes 802.11 Wi-Fi, voice assistant, built-in speaker for audio messages, optional 3G/4G router (SIM card not included), ambient lighting and a presence sensor.

    The light strip is **blue** when the bin is available and turns **red** when it is full. While red, the door no longer opens automatically until the bin is emptied, which prevents overfilling.

    Optional: self video surveillance system. Floor mounting. Operating temperature: -40 °C to +55 °C; storage temperature: -20 °C to +60 °C.

    Packaging: 1420 × 820 × 820 mm, 79 kg.

  <Accordion title="WYC-2021-120 (100 L with compactor)">
    The high-capacity version of the WYC range, with a waste compactor, a 60 W solar panel and a 30 Ah battery. Includes voice assistant, built-in speaker, LED lighting and automatic sensor-based opening and closing. 4G connectivity is optional.

    Selective collection station made of 1.5 mm galvanized steel with a textured black finish and electrostatic paint.

    * **1 automated compartment**: opens on approach (presence sensor), controlled automatic closing and anti-crush function.
    * **2 manual compartments**: simple, robust operation.
    * Removable 100 L inner liner in each compartment, easy to empty and clean.
    * Level sensor in each compartment, fill-level alarm and 3 red/green light indicators.
    * 105 W monocrystalline solar panel, 55 Ah LiFePO₄ battery and MPPT controller.
    * 2 illuminated LED panels of 760 × 380 mm for information, educational campaigns or advertising.

## Delivery and warranty

All bins are delivered door-to-door and installed on site by the Totem Digital team. The standard warranty is 24 months. See [Warranty](/en/suport/garantie) for details.
