# MGA0800 air conditioning module for outdoor totems

> Overview of the MGA0800 air conditioning module used in outdoor digital totems: working principle, technical specifications and compliance standards.

The **MGA0800** air conditioning module cools the inside of outdoor digital totems and protects temperature-sensitive electronics. This page covers the working principle, technical specifications and standards the module complies with.

<Note>
  All operations on this product must be performed by qualified engineers or technicians. Read the manual carefully before use and follow its instructions and notes.
</Note>

## Product introduction

The air conditioner is a refrigeration product developed specifically for cabinets. It suits locations where the heat generated inside the cabinet is very high, the internal electronics are sensitive to ambient temperature, and the inside must be fully isolated from the outside. The product has multiple functions, high reliability, and starts working right after power-up with no complex configuration.

### Working principle

The module has two separate air paths:

* **Internal path:** the fan draws hot air from the top of the cabinet, passes it through the evaporator fins for heat exchange, and sends the cooled air out of the bottom of the unit. The cabinet air circulates continuously and the temperature drops.
* **External path:** the fan draws cooler outside air from the bottom and discharges hot air from the top after heat exchange.

| Airflow | Direction |
| - | - |
| Warm air inlet (inside cabinet) | Top, inside the cabinet |
| Cool air outlet (inside cabinet) | Bottom, inside the cabinet |
| External path | Inlet and outlet on the sides, outside the cabinet |
